After the final concept presentation, MWDesign will focus on the approved product concept. This will be done primarily through 3D CAD modelling. We will further development the CAD models into precise components incorporating all features from the final concept design. The objective is to develop the design to allow us to create a prototype for testing, before investing in tooling.
Focusing on individual part components, MWDesign will refine the components and design out the cost to enable us to maintain quality while meeting our budget cost. We will begin engineering the parts for the product, focusing on functional aspects of the design.

GGL SMARTFENCE
The world's smartest, portable, all-in-one fence system.
MWDesign were charged with the task of taking Gallagher's idea and making it function. Creating a design with a stacking feature and solving issues like forming a corner under tension.
The concept of the Smart Fence conceived by Gallagher was inspired by a pull-out clothesline, where all the wires unwind at once. Such a simple concept turned into the Smart Fence – an international success story which redefined portable fencing. In the early days, way back in 2005 MWDesign worked with the team at Gallagher to define and refine the concept, develop the prototype and ensure the customer needs were addressed.
The result was a landslide of design and agritec awards upon its release at the 2010 National Fieldays.
