COMPONENT DESIGN FOR ASSEMBLY
After the final concept presentation, MWDesign will focus on the approved product concept. This will be done primarily through 3D CAD modelling. We will further development the CAD models into precise components incorporating all features from the final concept design. The objective is to develop the design to allow us to create a prototype for testing, before investing in tooling.
Focusing on individual part components, MWDesign will refine the components and design out the cost to enable us to maintain quality while meeting our budget cost. We will begin engineering the parts for the product, focusing on functional aspects of the design.

BIOSECURITY PRODUCTS
A graphics brand manual developed for our kauri dieback products.
Biosecurity Products was born out of the Kauri Dieback stations project in collaboration with the Department of Conservation.
This 4 year project reconciled user experience, ergonomic, environmental, manufacturing and maintenance constraints to produce an elegantly designed solution to combat the spread of Kauri Dieback.
With many other bio-security products in development, the new brand had to represent both our strong past and our bright future.
The BSP logo represents the company’s strong willed approach to protecting the environment by reflecting the typical hazardous chevron and shield geometry whilst also emulating elements of nature such as a leaf, tree top or water droplet.
