COMPONENT DESIGN FOR ASSEMBLY
After the final concept presentation, MWDesign will focus on the approved product concept. This will be done primarily through 3D CAD modelling. We will further development the CAD models into precise components incorporating all features from the final concept design. The objective is to develop the design to allow us to create a prototype for testing, before investing in tooling.
Focusing on individual part components, MWDesign will refine the components and design out the cost to enable us to maintain quality while meeting our budget cost. We will begin engineering the parts for the product, focusing on functional aspects of the design.

DUX CONNECTO TRADE ANIMATION
An animation created for the new DUX Connecto Trade product launch day.
After the success of the DUX Adjustapit animation, MWDesign was asked to create another one for DUX's new Connecto Trade system.
The DUX animations easily demonstrate features difficult to enplane in any other medium. MWDesign used Keyshot, Adobe Premier, and Adobe After Effects and even created our own materials to render the objects.
DUX has designed an interlocking modular surface water drainage system which is ideal for path, driveway or landscape use. Made from UV stabilised recycled materials the channels, corners, pits and accessories are suited to NZ conditions. Support brackets strengthen the joins between channels and solvent weldable ends and bottom outlets make assembly faster and easier.
