COMPONENT DESIGN FOR ASSEMBLY
After the final concept presentation, MWDesign will focus on the approved product concept. This will be done primarily through 3D CAD modelling. We will further development the CAD models into precise components incorporating all features from the final concept design. The objective is to develop the design to allow us to create a prototype for testing, before investing in tooling.
Focusing on individual part components, MWDesign will refine the components and design out the cost to enable us to maintain quality while meeting our budget cost. We will begin engineering the parts for the product, focusing on functional aspects of the design.

EZI-HITCH
A simple idea born from losing skin off knuckles.
The task was to design a plastic Ezy-Hitch for mass production that can take a beating as well as the metal version.
When the inventors of the Ezy-Hitch came to us with their prototype we knew they had a winner. The Ezy-Hitch is an idea born from losing skin off knuckles while hitching couplings under 4×4 ATV’s. The Ezy-Hitch is a simple leaver that attaches to ten different models of trailer coupling.
Products like Ezy-Hitch merge with the flow of everyday working life. It's one of those products that you sorely miss when it's not there. The result is a product that provides secure grip to wet muddy hands, mechanical and reach advantage for all scenarios and can have a strainer post drop onto it and bounce back for more.
