COMPONENT DESIGN FOR ASSEMBLY
After the final concept presentation, MWDesign will focus on the approved product concept. This will be done primarily through 3D CAD modelling. We will further development the CAD models into precise components incorporating all features from the final concept design. The objective is to develop the design to allow us to create a prototype for testing, before investing in tooling.
Focusing on individual part components, MWDesign will refine the components and design out the cost to enable us to maintain quality while meeting our budget cost. We will begin engineering the parts for the product, focusing on functional aspects of the design.

Gallagher F3 Fence Controller
MWDesign provided mechanical design as part of the Gallagher F3 Fence Controller R&D team.
MWDesign served as the mechanical design team for this project, working onsite and remotely from concept through prototypes to production tooling.
The F3 Fence Controller is a single energiser platform that handles everything from simple single-fence zone protection to complex multi-controller, multi-technology, fully networked solutions.
Two Configurations, deployable as a stand-alone fence controller (for use with an alarm panel), or as a fully networked controller with a full suite of integrated capabilities. Configurations can be changed easily with an onboard switch.
Service Mode & Magnetic Key: Service mode allows an operator to control zones while fault-finding and testing. A magnetic key allows historic alarm indications to be cleared, and, when in service mode, circuits can also be turned on and off.
