After the final concept presentation, MWDesign will focus on the approved product concept. This will be done primarily through 3D CAD modelling. We will further development the CAD models into precise components incorporating all features from the final concept design. The objective is to develop the design to allow us to create a prototype for testing, before investing in tooling.
Focusing on individual part components, MWDesign will refine the components and design out the cost to enable us to maintain quality while meeting our budget cost. We will begin engineering the parts for the product, focusing on functional aspects of the design.

This first design stage involves
in-depth research of the product market, stakeholders and other competitors.
Following our product familiarising research, this phase includes quick fire concept design & ideation based around technical, ergonomic and environmental parameters. This is then followed by concept development through aesthetic and mechanical design. A primary research document and sketch journal and other necessary items will be generated for review by the client.

Focused Concept Presentation
This second design stage involves true product & industrial design. This stage is dedicated to making the product come to life. We design the product to a believable state such that rigorous prototyping, branding and field testing can be achieved. MWDesign will work closely with you to ensure the best price and method of manufacture are achieved, helping to make a smooth transition into manufacturing.
We will develop methodology for manufacture, gain insight into the costs involved with the manufacture of the product, develop CAD models in 3D and produce a functional, aesthetic prototype for testing and any other necessary deliverables.
Design
This design stage is dedicated to the manufacture of the product. We design the product in detail, to a state such that manufacture, packaging, branding and field testing can be achieved.
MWDesign will work closely with the client and liaise with manufacturers, managing any tooling that is needed to ensure we achieve the best outcome of the product, at the best price. We will work with you to ensure the product will make a smooth transition into market, with the necessary branding and packaging to attract your target market, grow your customer numbers and grow sales.
